Perhaps you've heard all about the Capsule Wardrobe phenomenon and thought "I'd love to chuck 80% of my wardrobe, but where would I even start?". Or maybe you've heard of Capsule Wardrobes and wondered if they're right for you Maybe you've never heard of them, but you need to get out of the house and away from the kids for a little bit. If you've thought, "Hmm, that class looks interesting, but is it worth the investment of time and money?", read on to learn 5 reasons you should register right now!
1) You're overwhelmed by your closet--and shopping only makes it worse!
If you find yourself staring into the abyss of a packed closet thinking, "I have nothing to wear", this class is for you!
Very few women literally have nothing to wear. In reality, most of us have too much. Too much of the wrong things, that is. Learn why most women only wear 20% of the clothes they have and how to make more outfits with fewer pieces, less money, and less stress!
When we feel like we've got nothing to wear, the next logical step is to go shopping, right? Wrong! Usually, shopping makes the problem better in the short-term, but we find ourselves having nothing to wear again in a couple of weeks. Learn why that happens, and how to buy the right pieces so you've always got something you want to wear!
2) You hate to shop
We can't say we've personally experienced this, but we know lots of women who hate to shop. Often they tell us they go to the mall, wander around aimlessly for a couple of hours, and go home empty-handed. Ladies who hate to shop, Capsule Wardrobes are for you! This workshop will help you develop a targeted shopping list, so there's no more frustrated wandering. Learn how shopping less often can actually help you have more to wear!
Plus, if you hate to shop, this day is a one-stop solution! We're bringing the best vendors to you! LuLaRoe will showcasing their fabulous leggings, tunics, skirts and dresses (if you haven’t tried LLR, you’re in for a treat). Stella & Dot will have their super versatile accessories collection on-hand (including my all-time favorite necklace). Once you’ve learned HOW to organize from Conquer the Chaos, you can pick up all the organizational products you need from Thirty-One. Finally Mary Kay and Jamberry will be showing how to simplify your beauty routines, and they’ll have everything you need without setting foot in a mall.
3) You want to be the cute mom at the grocery store
We all know "that mom". You know,...the one who always looks great at the park, the grocery store...hell, she even looks cute dropping the kids at school in the morning! Even when she's in casual, comfy clothes, she always looks stylish. Ever wonder how she does it (and how you can, too)? Come to the workshop and we'll share with you the secrets of the perpetually put together.
4) You need a fun day out
When was the last time you did something for yourself? Grab a girlfriend (or two, or three...) and take a few hours just for you. We promise you'll learn, laugh, and walk away with a new outlook on yourself and your style for 2016. If you've resolved to simplify, reduce clutter, minimize stress, or do more for yourself this year, why not start by joining us for a really fun morning?
During lunch (of course there's lunch!), Kerry from Conquer the Chaos will be sharing tips to organize your master closet, and she'll be on hand to answer questions and offer solutions for getting your whole house in order. Kathy from Mary Kay will be showing us how to do a 5 minute out-the-door makeup look.
The whole day is designed to help you develop your style, create a wardrobe that works, and cut out the stress of looking great.
5) You want what these ladies got!
Just a few of the emails we received after July's Capsule Wardrobe Workshop...
I was totally inspired after class on Saturday and spent the rest of the weekend in my closet... 2 bags went to trash, 3 bags went to Goodwill and everything is organized by season so I can breathe in there again. My closet is actually quite beautiful now :) -Kami W
I've been pregnant or trying to lose baby weight for almost 6 years straight. Before the class I had a hot mess of frumpy clothes because I didn't want to buy nice things, knowing they may not fit for long. You showed me how to look great with fewer things, and after going shopping, I'm actually excited to get dressed, instead of feeling depressed about my wardrobe. Thank you!! - Ashley M
Oh my gosh! I just have to tell you how much fun the class was today. I discovered that a capsule wardrobe isn't really right for me, but I learned so much about how to create a style I like, and how to stop buying stuff I don't need--and I'm so excited to clean out my closet! I can't wait for your next class! -Julie P
I attended your seminar this morning and came away refocused and recharged about my wardrobe.
I'm a stay-at-home mom who has finally settled into my post baby body. I weigh slightly less than I did pre-baby but everything fits differently. I usually switch out my clothes 2x a year. At those times I toss a few outdated and/or stained items. Before your seminar, I knew my wardrobe was bogged down by items that weren't right. However, I didn't know where to start or what to do. I planned some outfits on pintrest, went on a few shopping sprees and dabbled in a few stitch fix shipments. Still, something just wasn't right. Then came your seminar....what a breath of fresh air! What great ideas and tips! You gave us something we could do...a focus, a goal...wardrobe ideas for minimal excess to maximize our confidence...So I came home and purged....112 clothing items bagged to donate and 8 clothing items to toss. I feel free! I feel energized! I'm looking forward to all the exciting options I have to wear tomorrow and throughout the summer and the rest of the year! – Jen T.
I took the before picture shortly after your class. "Before" - Clothes on the floor were old maternity clothes I didn't know what to do with. "After" is after our class and after sorting through seasonal and donate clothes. With the exception of a few things I'm wearing or in the wash- this is my wardrobe- and I LOVE it! - Amanda N.
So, is "New Year, New You" worth the investment? Abso-friggin-lutely! Spend a few hours with us, and you'll learn how to have more style, spend less money, and have more time for the things that really matter. Doesn't that sound like an awesome way to kick off 2016?
